Armed Forces Covenant

Sonic Communications are very proud to have had our Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award revalidated for another period.

Sonic was initially awarded the recognition back in 2014 when we first iterated our commitment to the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant.

• The ERS Silver award recognises that Sonic Communications provides continued and sustained support to the Armed Forces Community:
• That members of the force’s community are not disadvantaged in our recruitment and selection process.
• That all our positive policies relating to defence personnel are internally publicised.
• That we employ at least one individual from the armed forces category that our nomination emphasises.
• We have demonstrated support to Reservist mobilisations.
• That we align our values with our Armed Forces Covenant.

In addition to these commitments, we are proud sponsors of communications equipment to both the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team and the National Memorial Arboretum as well as several closely associated unit charities with which we have contact.

Our small team includes a number of veterans and reservists who continue to add much value to the efforts of the company and we actively seek to employ more through engagement with ex-military recruitment services. Sonic looks forward to many more year’s association with the UK military and the high calibre personnel that it engenders.
